About Me
I'm a saxophonist, flutist, and clarinetist - I've played and taught in the San Francisco Bay Area for over three decades. I perform many styles of music, including Jazz (Big Band and Small Ensembles), World (Brazilian, Cuban, Puerto Rican, African, Tropical), Rock, Funk, Dance, Pop, and Classical.
As a leader, I'll provide music that will fit the size and mood of your event, from solo sax to large ensemble - you can rest assured that the music will be just right!
As a recording artist, I will give your recording the spark to make it work just right. I will take your direction, and when needed, I'll come up with horn parts that add energy to your project.
As a musician for hire, I've played many gigs of all types. Whether it's a wedding, musical theater, a Jazz gig (combo or Big Band - I play all the saxophones and double), a Rock club gig, a concert band, or a Bossa Nova group (I specialize in Brazilian music - Bossa, MPB, Choro, Pagode, Samba Jazz). I will come to your gig prepared, appropriately attired, and on time. I sightread, transpose, and play by ear.
